The Holmes Sports Center is the principal athletic facility for Simmons University. The 60,000 square foot building was carefully sited to fit in with the dense urban campus. Patterned brick work and terra cotta oak leaf motifs adorn the building’s exterior. The award-winning facility includes an Olympic size pool and a regulation size hardwood basketball court with a running track suspended over its perimeter. Along with state-of-art training equipment including a rowing tank, the Center contains two squash courts and a large dance studio.
