Built in 1883, H.H. Richardson’s Austin Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the oldest law school buildings in the country. The exterior of the building needed a deep cleaning, and the sandstone walls, wood windows and limestone details had deteriorated over time. The building’s interior had also suffered a series of damaging renovations. The new work consisted of restoring the strong and consistent materials of the original building, while also updating the interior to meet the requirements of a modern teaching facility.
